Can I have the water flow tested?
  • A water flow analysis can give you additional information about a private well. A flow test will give you information about the well’s flow, pressure and performance.

Can I have the water quality tested?
  • A basic water analysis is important to have especially for homes with private well water. Using a professional home inspector assures the buyer of properly obtained independent sampling and unbiased results. Atlantic Home Partners uses a licensed laboratory and the results are available within 48 hours.

When will I receive a written report?
In almost all cases, you will receive an emailed report on the same day as the inspection. As applicable, it will include a condition analysis of the:

Can the inspector check for radon?
  • There are certain EPA protocols that must be followed to test for radon in conjunction with a real estate transaction. Atlantic Home Partners can inform you about radon and can do your radon screening.

What should I do if a problem is found?
  • Your professional home inspector may find defects which you did not notice when you first viewed your home. Many defects can be easily fixed, or even tolerated as is. Seldom would one of the defects be reason not to buy a home.
